KQTI, which last I heard was using virtual channel 8, has won approval to move from Ogden down to the site just south of Farnsworth Peak. David said that they had been running YouToo America and Biz TV which are already on KPDR 19 covering the same area. Will there be a change? Stay tuned.

The last time I was able to receive KQTI, they were still airing YouToo America and Biz TV. However, the station has been absent or undetectable on my most recent re-scans. In fact, I can now receive KPDR on virtual channel 19, but not KQTI. Not sure if KQTI's absence is related to the TV re-pack or their upcoming move, but I can no longer receive it at my "RF black hole" in NE Ogden.

Until this year the only authorizations they had were RF 14 which created a problem when KULX virtual 10 moved there ages ago. They got a construction permit to move to RF 17 but that's where KBYU-TV is now. They got a new construction permit for RF 31 in April but that appears to have only been a stepping stone to be able to move to Salt Lake as a minor modification. I wouldn't be surprised if the 31 Ogden facility was either not constructed or put on the air just long enough to satisfy the rules.

I did a re-scan a few days ago in northern Davis county. I did not see anything popping up on Channel 8.
