I noticed a few changes at KSVN Ch 25 on Sat 6/1. First, I believe 25.1 (previously its only stream) was always in standard def. Not anymore. 25.1's Estrella is now in 720p. At the same time they added two new subchannels. The NuestraVision feed that got bumped from 25.1 when Estrella moved in is now on 25.2. 25.3 is now carrying KSVN(AM)/K260DC though its PSIP incorrectly calls it "KSVN-FM"
I think these are good moves. HD is obviously better than SD. Re-adding another service that has been discontinued is good. The most interesting one is the KSVN radio stream. I think it's an advantage for them more than the the previous radio simulcasts have been. KUER started it here. Then Classical 89 and BYU Radio followed and I think that's been it. Those previous 3 are mostly broadcasting to the same area that can pick up the FM signals (though 107.9 is a bit hampered.) The KSVN simulcast is different because KSVN(AM) has an increasingly difficult time when traveling south of Salt Lake and K260DC is even smaller. The TV signal should be good all the way to Provo. They can sell this. It isn't particularly mobile, but for at home listening it should work fine and increase the listener numbers.
