The Washington Post is reporting that Bill O'Reilly is likely to give up his radio show. If you're KLO, what do you do with the 10A-N timeslot? Live clearance for at least an hour of Dennis Miller? Anything else out there that should get clearance but isn't?

Progressive programming, um, like that will ever happen. I like Randi Rhodes, but wrong time slot. Maybe Ed Shultz.

You're right. Not gonna happen. This is the same station that was selling "Stop Hillary!" signs a year ago.
Whatever goes in that slot is going to have a very tough time. You've got Doug Wright over on KSL and Rush over on KNRS. The serious political junkies are probably going to be tuned to one of those two stations, so it makes sense to program against type and go for a lighter fluffier show IMO. That's why I think Miller is a good idea, plus they already carry a tape delayed hour of him afterward.
