This seems like a very poor frequency choice for a LPFM station in Salt Lake with KSFI just a couple of channels away at 100.3 FM. With the exception of some premium priced models from Sangean and Grundig, most radios manufactured today don't have very good adjacent channel rejection, and a low power FM on 99.9 will be difficult to receive for anyone close to KSFI's transmitter. Sounds like another case of the FCC being asleep at the wheel . . . sure glad I'm not paying the bill for the construction of the station!

There's nobody anywhere near Farnsworth where FM100 is. The nearest people on that side of the mountain are about 5 miles away. Also, the second adjacent problem hasn't seemed to bother the translators and boosters that are second adjacent to the Farnsworth stations for years. K252DI 98.3 is only 160 watts and I've never had a problem picking them up. YMMV. Has anyone had problems with any 2nd adjacents?
There was an objection by iHeart about interference to 99.5 going the other way, so they did modify their original proposal.
The biggest loser in this I think is going to be KLZX which is moving to 99.9 also (eventually) and has fringe coverage into the Salt Lake area. I don't know if they care about those listeners at all, but they will be going away.
