People don't seem to care much, but a few observations:
ZHT had a big jump.
KSL bouncing up and down like a yo-yo. This was a down month, though they're still doing very well so nobody there should be worried (IMO).
Now 97.9 continues to go up.
KUER down noticeably.
The End is still in big trouble, though I could write that pretty much every month.
KLO has had zero improvement in the last year since the introduction of the 103.1 simulcast. The Jack FM format (that was running purely on autopilot as far as I could tell) was doing twice as well as the combined KLO AM & FM. Isn't it time to throw in the towel?

I care.
I'm glad to see 97.9 doing well. They are my favorite music station. Perhaps Capitol can continue funding KLO as it is. I listen to Bill Bennett and would miss him. Perhaps KLO would do better if they could get Laura Ingraham back. She was their best program.
I'm also glad to see KNRS doing well. I'm a right wing nut and seldom miss Glenn Beck. Rush is also a favorite.
I'm surprised at the continued popularity of the oldies stations. I'm an oldie myself, but have kind of grown tired of most of the older music.
It looks like 106.5 is not a big winner.
Yuh, when a rim-shot, KEGA, beats full power KENZ it ought to be time to do some serious thinking. Hell, just copy KZHT, KBZN, or KUDD, and give me one more option to try when the commercials come on. Country oldies might be good too.

I did rarely listen to Laura Ingraham, but I turned her off for good when she claimed that a woman's life couldn't be threatened by pregnancy. That's just flat out not true. People like that shouldn't be on the radio, in my opinion.

How about stick Jack FM on The End. The format is close enough anyway.

KSL bouncing up and down like a yo-yo. This was a down month, though they're still doing very well so nobody there should be worried (IMO). Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but is there any way to determine how the individual shows are doing? I enjoy the Nightside Project from time to time and would love to see how it does comparatively. Perhaps KLO would do better if they could get Laura Ingraham back. Maybe they'd do better if they could get Lonsberry back. He's a polarizing figure, but my last time tuning into KLO was his last day there.

Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but is there any way to determine how the individual shows are doing? I enjoy the Nightside Project from time to time and would love to see how it does comparatively. It's a good question, but the answer isn't the one you probably want. You'd be able to get the breakdown every which way you can think of if you actually buy the ratings from Arbitron. Problem is, that ain't cheap. The only numbers that are made public are the aggregate numbers for all surveyed people, which nobody actually uses. It's a decent baseline for how well a station is doing but really doesn't tell you anything significant.
