Cumulus just "flipped" several of their country outlets to the Nash FM brand today. Included is semi-nearby KQFC 97.9 in Boise.
I've heard that some of the staffers at KUBL are pretty confident that The Bull won't be corralled anytime soon. But you (and they) never know...
I think it's a cool, new idea and goes a step further than just calling all your CHR's KISS FM, a-la CC. There's some print media as well as TV, as I understand that are part of the plan as well.

Those rumors have been around since the New York City area Nash debuted back in January. This week someone uncovered some additional Nash related website names that were registered. I myself found nashfm933.com, though that was registered before the other ones that are suspected of being part of the national rollout. On the other hand, KQFC that you mentioned now has a website at nashfm979.com.
The rumors nationally is that it will be a rebranding of all the country stations, so K-Bull will be included. Given the reputation of the K-Bull branding locally I think that would be a mistake, but this is a case where the national corporate interests generally override any local concern. Reputation didn't stop KSOP-FM from rebranding in recent years either. I think it's just a matter of time before we have Nash FM 93.3. As of right now they are only using the "Powered by Nash" tagline. Has that been there a while?

NASH will come to K-Bull, but it'll be one of the later roll-outs.
