KSL TV ANNOUNCES MICHELLE KING AS NEW HOST OF MORMON TIMES SHOW
Salt Lake City, UT, November 1st, 2011: KSL TV announced today Michelle King as the new host of the Mormon Times show. In July, Michelle and her husband, returned from presiding over LDS missionaries in the Atlanta, Georgia North Mission. While Michelle had no intention of returning to television, after her long standing career as a news anchor in this market, this was an opportunity that aligned perfectly with her recent experiences. "I see this opportunity as an extension of the message we shared for the last 3-years in the Georgia Atlanta North Mission,” says Michelle. “I feel the Mormon Times show is another great way to spread the Gospel and uplift and motivate members of the LDS faith. It's all positive news--and that's a nice change for me!"
“Utah viewers have missed Michelle and will welcome her in this new role. Her personal warmth and passion for this subject make her a perfect fit,” said Michelle Torsak, Senior VP of Programming for KSL TV and KSL NewsRadio.
Mormon times airs on Sundays at 10:00 am on KSL 5 TV and shares the inspiring stories and testimonies of those living the LDS faith, from well-known LDS authors, artists and musicians to everyday members. Michelle will begin hosting Mormon Times on Sunday, November 13th.
