The City of Logan's KLGU 106.1 has been officially deleted.
I haven't thought about the station in years. Anyone know the last time it was on and what it was running? I heard it about 10 years ago or so and it was just running a loop of town happenings type stuff.

It was on the air for a year. The mayor loved it, the library ran it and the city council hated it. Guess who won in the end?

Besides what you said physics had something to do with it too. With the upgrade of what used to be local KOTB in Evanston into a full class C from Humpy the station was too close. I'm not sure what the old standards were, but even the new ones wouldn't allow KLGU from where it was licensed.

By the time the physics would have come into play, it was already gone. Without any third adjacent protection, it was at risk both politically and regulation-wise.
