Not much happened really. There was a little jockeying for position, but I don't see anything particularly major except for one bogon. St George's KONY showed in the Salt Lake book. Weekend trip down south for someone?
The ratings for KJMY-HD2's retransmission on 99.1 K256AE are small but consistent. I have to wonder how much longer 96.7 K244DH is going to waste the signal rebroadcasting KSOP-FM which is located about a quarter of a mile away and is far stronger. Yes, I realize the primary purpose of the station is to be a placeholder and make sure nobody else comes in and sets up shop in the SLC area where they would interfere with KQMB down in central Utah. Still, there's audience available there. Why not take advantage of it?

I still think KSOP along with the Farnsworths need Utah County translators/boosters on-channel. Provo is mostly dead for those guys.

Translators wouldn't be a good idea for at least a couple of reasons. One, there isn't enough room for them. Two, it would be likely that commuters would have to switch frequencies during the trip. They are probably just as likely to switch to a different station.
Boosters I could see. It's curious that nobody has one, yet a number of stations target Park City with boosters.

I think boosters on Lake Mountain would be a good idea, it seems to have a good "view" of Utah County. When I was up there, I recall the Farnsworth stations being weak, even on the top of the mountain. A few stns in Wyoming could use boosters. My locals would do better with them.
