Any reviews here of Big Apple Pizzeria? I've wanted a real New York Style pizza for ages now and haven't been able to find one. I heard about this place on 104.7 and wanted to see if it was worth my while. Being on 104.7 is probably not a coincidence. I notice the Millcreek studios are a couple of blocks away. Any resident Millcreekians eat there?

Este is the good NY pizza, with Rusted Sun being a close #2. I always wanted to eat at Big Apple but never made it in during my residence.
Este is so good, they were able to rebuild after a fire destroyed their building and they have a can of pineapple "for sale" at the bar. Because... well apparently New Yorkers hate the idea of pineapple pizza.

No one else had an opinion?
Not sure if you look at yelp.com, CA, but all three have strong reviews.

I think yelp was one of the sites I was browsing. It sounds good, and I think I'll check Big Apple next weekend. Maybe I'll even wave to the Millcreek folks on my way past.

Let us know what you think. Settebello Pizzeria Napoletana is my current go to. Always on a quest for great pizza.

I did go. And yes it's real New York Pizza. I can't say it was the best I've ever had, but it was very very good and I would definitely recommend it.
