Ok I see that some of you in Utah have Comcast basically the only player in most Utah cities but my family lives in Cedar Hills and they are in the UTOPIA area which is now Prime Time Communications? slc.ptcomm.tv/index.phpAnd I am really impressed with the pricing and the service itself when I'm there. The Internet kicks in speed and the HD Signals for the TV are fantastic. What I like most is the price lock because when I had Comcast in SLC I saw the price increase by about $35.00 in one year seems like every other bill was a price increase a few dollars here and there until I finally got fed up with it and kicked Comcast to the curb. But you have Qwest or Comcast and for speed Comcast is the best. Not to many other players. So my question is do any other members have UTOPIA and do they like it? Have any of the members here tried DIGIS? I understand they now cover the entire Wasatch Front? Basically just seeing what you guys use for your providers in Utah just for fun. I have Time Warner for Internet and Directv with SLC Locals SHHHHH don't tell anyone. But I never updated my area when we moved here just pointed the dish and plugged in. For our Nevada locals I use an outdoor antenna. Just for fun is all this is.....

I use Dish for TV (SLC Locals and DVR Only) I use AFConnect, which is our town's (American Fork) own fiber network, for internet. It's $45/mo including a static IP. I see speeds upwards of 25mbps up and down. Up tends to outspeed down. Incredible for the price. Stability was a huge problem earlier this year but they've got it pretty solid now. We use vonage for home phone too. I think that our payout per month for all 3 services is $75-80... Not too shabby!

Pete, yep and it's even semi-legal*... No, the AF system is not technically Utopia, in that it's independent of that state program. it's a privately operated fiber network. If I whois my IP, it leads me to fiber.net out of Orem, so that must be the actual connection they use.
Yeah a buncha kids in our ward were either on that bus or a nearby one. They all were ok, other than sadness for their lost instructor.
