I know DSPete and I am.
Anyway, I'm curious as I know I wish I knew a way to get out, honestly. I think my station cluster is well positioned to succeed but with the cost of PPM and all the change, I just feel like I need a new career.
And... besides... for music, I only listen to online stations (or good local stations - for the person that likes BPM, try KNHC C89.5 FM online) or new technologies. This Slacker thing looks amazing.... Starbucks plays good tunes, that you can download to your PC or phone... Pandora.
What's it mean when the station employees don't even listen to their own product?
Just some late night thoughts on too little sleep and an anxiety filled day...

I work for a "cluster" here in Salt Lake and I don't listen to any of the stations in the building. It doesn't bother me that I don't. I'm sticking to my music tastes and thats all that matters to me. I honestly don't think anyone would be forcing me to listen to the stations I work for. If they did, how are they going to know.
I too am on the prowl for a better job, mainly because my hours are so whacky.
