I was listening this evening to Bloomberg 99.1 an noticed that it was about 40 minutes delayed. At one point an on air mention of it being 8:30 am in Hong Kong. Which should have been airing on 99.1 at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, but I was hearing that at 7:10 pm.
Can someone with an HD radio check KJMY HD2 to see if the HD signal is also delayed?

99.5 HD2 and 99.1 are virtually the same.
Right now the Bloomberg terrestrial stations are not airing what 99.5HD2/99.1 are airing. I'm checking further.

Your report is confirmed. What's airing on 99.5HD2/99.1 is about 40 1/2 minutes behind the realtime feed as near as I can figure. The 30ish seconds could be explained by iHeart buffering in case the feed drops out for a bit, but 40 minutes might as well be all day in the world of business. I wonder what equipment they'd have in the air chain that is even capable of a delay that long.
That got me thinking about how many people would even notice since the ratings are pretty much nonexistent. It then occurred to me that the ratings might be lying. I know that at some business where highly sensitive information is being discussed in open areas there is a ban on any listening devices. That ban could extend to something like a PPM. If that's the case, the PPM participants would rarely be able to give credit to Business 99.1 even if they do listen to it.

Business 99.1 is still significantly behind live. I checked Sunday of last week and then yesterday and both times it was far from live. So if it ever got fixed, it broke again.

It was never fixed the times I listened to it.
