Tuned in for "M&SW" on KSL-1160 this morning, and found a simulcast of 1280, with Fox Sports Radio. Called the newsroom, and they said there was no one there from radio, and no one else has called. TV was running the usual Choir Show, so I checked 102.7, and the Mo-Tabs were there. I got hold of their engineers, and the feed on 1160 switched a bit later, at 9:50 AM. Anyone know how long it was on the wrong source? When was their last simulcast?

Sounds like a run-of-the-mill board automation mess up to me. Weird that 102.7 and 1160 would be split, though. I would figure they both ran off the same board.

As far as I know the AM and FM have always 100% simulcasted. Am I wrong there? Maybe this is a clue that this will be changing.
Ken, do you know if the Bonneville cluster uses IP/networking for their audio routing? A glitch or accidental misconfiguration could easily route the wrong source to the transmitter.

I think they do use IP routing in the latest configuration (2019 or so). The announcements about the Real broadcasts have me confused. Not sure if only KSL-AM will carry the simulcast games, or if KSL-FM will carry them as well. I made a list yesterday, and will try to monitor the broadcasts for the next few weeks.
