Morning drive is the most important daypart. It's surprising to me that they didn't have something lined up before the change, but maybe they didn't want to tip their hand.

Honestly, in the Salt Lake market it's the only daypart left (at most stations).

Article about KBER's Mick & Allen from Inside Radio. I thought they'd been covering the morning drive shift at KBER for longer than just 34 months. They were. It's in the Radio Insight article you originally linked to.

I used to listen to Mick and Allen in the afternoons when Bob and Tom was on in the mornings. That's been lots of years ago, though.

It's in the Radio Insight article you originally linked to. Huh? CA, I'm not understanding what you're saying. The Inside Radio article says that Mick & Allen had been hosting morning drive on KBER since March 2020. According to my calculations, that's only 34 months hosting morning drive on 101.1, even though Mick & Allen had been at KBER since 2005. Their prior morning drive stint was on KURR 99.5 from 1996-2000, now known as KJMY. What am I missing here?
