Looks like KDYL-1060 has been off the air for a few days.
1430 and 1640 are broadcasting nothing but a carrier for a while.
Does anyone know if KBJA-1640 even has any studios, office, staff or ownership in Utah anymore?
Their website seems to indicate something like a mail drop in California, now.

IIRC, it was mentioned here earlier this year that KBJA had moved their studio to the "Silicone Slopes" area of Utah, which could be anywhere between Salt Lake City and Lehi. As for KMES, they're owned by a company that's located in California, and I doubt they have any local presence (other than the transmitter) now that the main studio rule has been abolished. I have no idea what's going on with KDYL, but that station has been cursed with technical issues ever since the China Radio International connected owners ran KDYL into the ground before taking it silent. However, I believe 1060 has some local contact info on their Facebook page. With this weekend being a holiday weekend, I'm guessing that any staff in the local area that are responsible for overseeing operations of the stations you mentioned are probably out of town or otherwise unavailable.

FWIW, KMES is no longer broadcasting dead air as of 8:00 AM Sunday. KBJA is still on the air with dead air; even their streaming feed is down. Not exactly a great way to retain the handful of listeners they still have. 🙄 |

KDYL-1060 is back on the air right now (Wednesday, around 4:50 PM).

KBJA is FINALLY back on the air today with audio on 1640.👏 Apparently the engineering staff for United Broadcasting finally awoke from their long winter's nap. 😉

I'm beginning to think that none of the radio stations along the Wasatch Front have silence sensors anymore. It's presently 11:40 AM Sunday morning, and KALL 700 has been broadcasting dead air for at least the last 45 minutes. The station's TuneIn streaming is MIA as well. 🙄 Oh well, I'm sure glad it's not me that's paying the electric bill for a 50 kW dead carrier.
