KXRK 96.3 is now broadcasting an HD3 signal. It is absolutely synchronous with 92.1. And both of those are about a minute behind AM 700.
I can hear no background noise on 92.1, which leads me to believe that the HD digital signal is feeding the translator.
People “in stadium” watching a live game are not going to be happy with the delay on FM.

I will check that out tonight. Their 9 AM legal ID, at least on their internet audio stream, didn't say anything about KXRK HD3, just KALL North Salt Lake.

To solve the delay issue on FM, Broadway could temporarily turn off the HD. KSL has been doing that for years during live BYU games. If all else fails, the in stadium fans could always switch over to the (gasp!) AM signal to listen without the delay. 😉 KALL 700 is 50 kW days and 10 kW nights, and that much RF power should cover just about everywhere in the SLC metro.

To solve the delay issue on FM, Broadway could temporarily turn off the HD. You might want to rethink that. The only HD signal we're talking about is KXRK HD3.
The extreme difference between the 96.3 HD3/92.1 broadcast and the 700 one would lead me to think the first two are being fed from the internet stream, which makes no sense. Just when I thought the saga of 92.1 couldn't get any stranger.....
