PBS has confirmed that it won't be airing any of the "Peanuts" holiday specials on TV this year, due to not having the rights to distribute the shows. If you're not an Apple TV+ subscriber, there will be three limited time windows available when the Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas TV specials can be viewed for free.

Sad, but I think everyone saw this coming. We got a 1 2/3 season reprieve after a lot of people got blindsided by the Apple deal in 2020. They bought the rights to promote Apple TV+ and giving it to PBS goes against it. Now that everyone has gotten used to the idea the broadcast train has pulled into the storage yard. I still have the off-air recordings from 2020 and 2021 so I'm good, but at least there's the free streaming windows. That's credit on Apple's side.

It isn't the same thing, but MeTV (4.2 in SLC and 8.1 in Cedar City/St George) will be airing the movie "A Boy Named Charlie Brown" on Sunday 11/20 at 7PM. That might help those who are suffering from Charlie Brown Withdrawal.
