I noticed a few on-air spots are gone from the U92 website, including the PD "Erockalypse". Maybe changes coming to KUUU?

Huh? Color me confused. What do you mean by on-air spots on the website?

U92 is owned by Broadway Media, so at this point I wouldn't be surprised if they're getting ready to lay off some or all of the on air talent due to poor ratings. Broadway did away with all the air staff at The Eagle in 2019, and it seems like anything can happen on a moment's notice with them. I think a lot of people here were more than a bit surprised when Broadway flipped 105.5 to a simulcast of Bob FM and moved KOOL FM to an HD subchannel at the end of March.

Broadway truly are the Harvey Dent of radio owners. They came in as heroes who rescued X96 and U92, turning them into fresh, fun stations around 2016.

Huh? Color me confused. What do you mean by on-air spots on the website? I think that levoix meant to type "on-air slots" instead of on-air spots, and the spell checker didn't catch it or did an autocorrect. It's probably a reference to the on air shift times for the U92 DJ's, some of which are apparently now missing from the website.

Here's hoping they bring in an actual Rhythmic CHR PD from some other city who knows how to whip it back into shape.
Back in 2007, I had an African-American colleague at a job in Utah. She had moved in from Washington D.C. and favorably compared U92 to WPGC— "white chocolate" she called it. Lately, U92 is sounding like a bad WinAmp playlist.
