I was listening to Mike Summers' show on The Wave this morning, and during one of the breaks Mike mentioned that "Unrest On the Seventh Day" would be returning to KLO-FM next Sunday, April 3rd at 7:00 PM. No word on who the show's host will be, but apparently "Resurrection Radio" is going to be rebranded with the late Cuzzin Brad's moniker for the weekly punk/industrial/gothic music show next week.

Nice. I'm looking forward to it.
Resurrection Radio hasn't been on the air in a few weeks. I'd check in at 7pm and it had the regular song line up.
I wonder who the host will be?

I just heard Andrea say that Bob Bedore will be hosting the "reboot" of Unrest On The Seventh Day. That name vaguely rings a bell as someone who may have been associated with KJQN in Ogden, but perhaps someone with a better memory than mine remembers more about Bob than I do.🙂 FWIW, from reviewing The Wave's Facebook page, it looks like the last episode of "Resurrection Radio" aired on February 6th, 2022.

The name did sound familiar. A quick google search brought up Bob Bedore as a local improv actor. opencomedy.com/bobbedoreI may have seen some of is performances in the past. I'm really looking forward to the show now.

Is he any relation to Laura Bedore that did morning shows with Scott Fisher and Show Tunes Saturday night? I wonder if she's doing radio anywhere. She's got a great voice.

According to Laura Bedore's LinkedIn profile, she's been employed by Clear Channel (iHeart) since January 2007. Laura's profile doesn't say which station(s) she works for, so I suspect she does voice tracking for more than one iHeart station. I couldn't find any info about whether or not she's related to Bob.

Thank you for doing that research, David. I guess I'll have to listen for her on iHeart stations.

Thank you, that helped as well. Off Broadway Theater is where I knew Bob Bedore from. I saw several plays with that group.

In his post on The Wave's Facebook page, Bob states that he started "Unrest On the Seventh Day" in 1987, which was when KJQN was still located in the recently demolished studio building on Gibson Avenue in Ogden. IIRC, it wasn't until 1991 when all of the KJQN on air staff were fired or quit, with the exception of Kerry Jackson. I didn't realize that "Unrest" had been around since 1987. I've always thought it started when Chet Tapp and Cuzzin Brad flipped 103.1 to The Wave.

I loved listening to the show. I hope that they can start posting the playlist again.
