Did KNRS-570 have transmitter problems around 2:30 PM today (Friday)?
I turned the radio on, and dialed across the band as I started my lunch. There was a signal (theirs), but the power was so low that it appeared to be an out-of-market signal. It came back to normal in a minute or so.

I don't know what happened with KNRS this afternoon, but I know the AM frequency has had problems in the past. A few years ago, the 570 signal was so weak I could barely hear it in Ogden for almost a week. I think it was just last year that there was a loud AC hum on 570 that made the audio sound like crap, and the humming noise lasted for several days before it was fixed. I suspect that the capacitors in the transmitter's power supply failed, and it took iHeart a few days to get their on call engineer to fix the problem.
