Martha Quinn will once again be heard in Salt Lake Radio. Remember, she was Voice Tracked in Salt Lake Radio in 2001 on KISN from noon to 1:00 Monday through Friday. Now her show will be heard nation wide. I jost hope she doesn't play the same crap every day like she did at KISN when she was Voice Tracked. I realize that she most likely was told waht to play or given a list. But I hope her national show has a biger varity of 80's music. Wouldn't it be nice if Martha took calls and requests over the air? Or is that to innovative for iHeart Radio. I also wonder if 94.1 or 99.5 will cary Martha Quinn. I personally think it would be better if 99.5 carryed Martha Quinn because 94.1 is already doing well in the ratings. www.allaccess.com/net-news/archive/story/214208/the-martha-quinn-show-to-launch-nationwide-on-ihea

iHeart already announced it's going to air on KODJ. My 99.5 wouldn't make sense to me since Quinn is associated with the 80's and 99.5 is much broader than that.
I'm not expecting too much from this show. The most notable thing about it is the cachet of the host, and that was from 40 years ago. It's not surprising that Quinn would end up at iHeart. iHeart is run by Bob Pittman, who ran MTV back then.

She's been on mornings at I Heart 80's + 103.7 for a few years in San Francisco. It's cool to hear her voice. She was awesome at MTV, and her stuff at Sirius/XM is great as well, though I haven't had that service for a long time now, so I'm not sure she was doing both.

I will be curious to hear what they do in my home market as she appears to be a licensed voice for the Bob/Jack clone and it is not owned by iHeart. I'm sure iHeart would like to clear her midday program on the classic hits station they own in this market.

My understanding is the ratings are high on KODJ. Wo, why get ric of someone and put Martha in that person's place on KODJ? How about changing My 99.5 to an all 80's station? Then put Martha Quinn on. But wait a minute. Then iHeart Radio would mess up the 80's format. I just hope we don't hear the same songs over and over again. Time will tell.

The 80's are at the center of KODJ's playlist. Competing against yourself makes no sense.
