Apparently the ownership for KULX-CD in Logan is changing.

First, the original callsign that was in the title of the thread is incorrect. KULX-CD is licensed to Ogden, transmits from Farnsworth Peak, and doesn't reach Logan. I corrected it.

The station that the article is referring to is K17II-D. NBC/Telemundo is selling the station to Cache County, which already owns 9 other translators in Logan. It's pretty typical of local governments to run the translators of the Salt Lake stations and the sales agreement specifies it to retransmit KULX-CD. It looks like K17II has been silent for a while anyway. Maybe NBC didn't want to fix it and that's why the county is taking over.
