Fire up the format wheel! RadioInsight predicting a change is coming to KYMV 100.7. Any ideas? Seems like all the good formats are already taken. I'd love to hear something like the old Movin 100.7 (Rhythmic AC), or a resurrection of KJQ like what Todd Nukem is programming on X96 HD2.

Dang. This is the station I listen to the most when I am in the car. There is a lot of overlap with KODJ and KRSP, but KYMV was a little bit more adventurous with their play list.
Maybe they could Rewind a little further and play 60s-70s? Sure it is a small pond of advertisers that want to speak to that demographic, but they would have it all to themselves north of Point of the Mountain.

Thinking about demos at Broadway... they're missing F 25-54, unless you consider The Eagle (but that station might also be changing, given their ratings). Maybe AC to take a bite out of FM 100?

That's easily my go-to station when I'm not in a country mood. They play some great tunes. I can't fathom what they would change to...

i can't either. I'd change the format of the Eagle or at least of KEGA and leave the Eagle on 1055 and KUDD HD2 where it also seems to simulcast off and on. Really both could be justified in changing

First just to be clear on what the Domain Insight feature is...it reports that there are one or more internet domains that have been registered by a company and speculates where they might end up. It doesn't quite "predict" a change but more shows what might be changing. Having said that I wouldn't bet against a domain Lance Venta found being used. Meanwhile, I've seen what he found. It's behind a paywall so I'm not going to disclose what it is (and nobody else should either please.) I will say that I wouldn't spend too much time thinking about it.

Jon Carter's Facebook page says he'll be on air at 100.7 "Bob FM" starting this Monday (Dec. 21st) morning. That gives me a good idea of what format Rewind 100.7 will be flipping to. 😏

Interesting. Rewind 100.7 was in my top three behind 103.1 The Wave and 103.5 The Arrow so I'll be interested to see what the switch will be.
Will the switch happen at midnight Saturday (going into Sunday)?

They have been leaning a little on the classic rock hits over the past few hours. Not mentioning Rewind at all just Jon Carter promos. Sounding more like Arrow.

At one point Rewind was running a syndicated show on Saturday nights. Could that have been what you heard Pete?
I'm reasonably sure that what's airing now is what Bob is going to be. They're just not going to officially unveil the new brand until Monday at 6AM when Jon Carter starts.

Earlier this morning, I heard a spot on KYMV encouraging businesses to advertise on "Rewind 100.7". Oops. . . that's going to need updating! Also, Broadway REALLY needs to update the RDS for 100.7 or just turn it off. It's been displaying "Here Comes the Rain Again by Eurythmics on Rewind 100.7" and "WFQD" (whatever that means) for MONTHS now. If a station is going to use RDS to display the titles of songs being played, it's nice if the information displayed is correct. 🙄

Bob is live, complete with lots of liners. The switch happened sometime before 3AM. Their positioning is "80's, 90's and whatever" so basically they just went back to variety hits a la Jack, Mike, Ben, Tony and all those other guys names.
