If you missed it last month, Apple now has the rights to the Charlie Brown specials and I think for the first time ever the Great Pumpkin was not on broadcast TV. This caused an uproar on social media. Apple has now given in and announced that the Thanksgiving and Christmas specials will be shown on PBS. I'm a little surprised (though pleased) that Apple gave in, but much more surprised that the outlet they made a deal with is PBS. At least this way it won't have to be padded out to an hour like ABC has done for something like 20 years and I would hope PBS won't put underwriting or promos in the middle of the show.
The Thanksgiving special will air this Sunday 11/22 at 6:30 on KUED 7.1 and 7:30 on PBS Kids 7.3
