June ratings are out. The number I'm sure a lot of us were waiting for was KSL's and they remain steady from May. I'm still not worried about the numbers directly, but All Access dropped some new news today. Apparently Jay Mac announced that he's leaving too. (https://www.allaccess.com/net-news/archive/story/187842/jay-mcfarland-exits-ksl-salt-lake-city-is-run-for- ) There are already a few question marks around the station with the recent downturn and this may not help. Maybe they can turn this into an opportunity by doing a big promotion around the new AM Drive and midday hosts? I might wait until September though.
In other news, KLO made the survey this month, so they are still definitely being measured. If only more people knew about it.... In the meantime Easy 99.1 continues to creep upward. The Broadway stations are still not subscribing.

KSQN took a noticeable dip in the latest ratings. I've seen a lot of negative posts on The Wave's Facebook page recently about the addition of 90's music to their playlist, so perhaps that has something to do with the station's lower ratings. Apparently fans of 80's new wave/punk don't care much for the grunge of the 1990's.

I am listening less to KSQN. 100.7 has added a lot of the 80's New Wave material that I like to their play list. Once "Alternative" became its own genre, I pretty much lost interest.

Not sure if this is the best place to post this, but the previous thread on KSL has been locked. KSL radio's updated schedule shows that Boyd Matheson's "Inside Sources" has been expanded to 12:30-3:00 PM in the wake of Jay MacFarland's departure. No word yet on whether it's a temporary or permanent change.
