I think we might have missed this one. I couldn't find a mention of it but I didn't look a hugely long time.
There's a new 92.1 translator that just got its license to cover. It's on Farnsworth Peak and directional pointing northeast at Salt Lake. It's listed as translating KALL and apparently will be required to translate them for four years, so it looks like KALL will be coming to FM.
Is there any chance they might keep the live sports and switch to a music format the rest of the time? I tend to doubt it, but it's possible.

Many involved with KALL ESPN 700 have wanted to be on FM somewhere... so this makes sense. This Translator, according to FCC page, is owned by The Sanpete Radio folks.. who have made other deals directly or indirectly with the Broadway Folks (103.9 Translator on Lake Mnt etc) ... Any chance you could fill us in on the source of the information linking to Kall?? Also the move to Farnesworth is not shown here transition.fcc.gov/fcc-bin/fmq?list=0&facid=139660.... that shows it on some building downtown it looks like...

Funny you should mention that. I was actually just coming back because the idea of buying KTCE had occurred to me before but I'd forgotten to mention it. Then I remembered that KUUU is co-owned by....Broadway Media. What if there's some deal to bring KALL to KTCE and increase KTCE's coverage to the north synchronizing it with the new translator? They could even throw in the rights to program K280GJ (the 103.9 on Lake Mountain) that isn't really doing a lot right now.
Might be a crazy idea, but it could work.

Oh, and smooth jazz is to jazz as rubber band is to orchestra.

New interesting filing. Sanpete filed a silent STA. It says the station went silent Aug 10. Did anyone ever hear them on the air? It also says the silent reason is "SANPETE COUNTY BROADCASTING CO. REQUESTS TEMPORARY SILENT AUTHORITY FOR K221GK WHILE IT LOOKS INTO A POTENTIAL CO-CHANNEL INTERFERENCE ISSUE AND CONDUCTS TESTING TO DETERMINE WHETHER ANY MODIFICATION OF THE K221GK AUTHORIZED FACILITIES MAY BE NEEDED." licensing.fcc.gov/cgi-bin/ws.exe/prod/cdbs/forms/prod/cdbsmenu.hts?context=25&appn=101764300&formid=910&fac_num=139660The only co-channel overlap I can see is exactly what you were talking about Dana. It's interesting.

92.1 still Jazz @ 10pm 8-13-17
K221GK which is the signal in question at 92.1 But KTCE 92.1 is a licenced Class A Station which is not the same correct?
Wait a minute I just looked up K221GK that's the signal in SLC translating ESPN 700 so that's owned by Sanpete?

KTCE and K221GK are not the same station, and yes K221GK is owned by Sanpete (at least as of now.)
