Okay, can someone explain what is going on with KHQN 1480 in Spanish Fork? I've never found a phone number that works to contact them. I've heard locally branded weather forecasts on the station before, but today they ID'd as an "KKNT 960 The Patriot" an Arizona station. I thought at first the Tunein app was just giving me the wrong stream, but their over the air signal is playing the same thing. Thoughts?

The most recent phone information I could find that was filed with the Funny Cookie Company is 435-864-3723. They also have 801-798-3559 from their most recent application. Radio Locator has 801-765-1480. I haven't tried any of them though.
The bad ID is easier to explain. I'll bet the forecast was outsourced to a company that does weather for hundreds of stations. They have someone read a prepared forecast, then they put the file on a server somewhere and the station grabs it and dumps it into the automation system. What probably happened was someone either read the wrong copy or mistagged the file. Did the forecast sound correct for the area?

It wasn't just the forecast. They actually ID'd as "KKNT - Phoenix." I listened for a while and it was clear that it actually was KKNT being broadcast over KHQN's signal. When I tuned in for the next hour, it seemed to be fixed. They said "KHQN" (though they didn't actually do a legal ID.) I'll try those numbers and see if I can find anything out.
