Tonight I found myself looking back at the old pages and posts on this forum, and it reminded me of all of the good and bad times I had working in radio in Salt Lake City. I left off on the article about how KBULL was winning, and noticed I did an about face later in the thread (kind of hilarious). I remember that day clear as a bell, and wouldn't change a thing about my decision to never work remotes for KBULL ever again. Anywho, I do miss Utah from time to time, but I am relatively happy where I am now, and I still work in radio. Reliving the past is kind of fun! A lot has changed in the two years I have been away. People I knew have gone, but some are still there (at Cita... Cumulus). Most of the KBULL staff jumped ship, and both Z-rock personalities I got to know well are gone. KBER still has the same afternoon show that I catch on the Tune-In app every once in a blue moon. The B is still the same. The End... well, I never really cared for The End. I hope some of the people I worked with still have jobs though. I've grown a lot wiser about the radio industry since my time in Utah. Small market radio is a lot easier From Sheridan Wyo - this is DXStuboy signing off!

It seems to me that people come and go but the stations themselves remain pretty much the same. Do you agree?

Yep. From what I see on Facebook, nothing has changed at Z-Rock, despite Marcus and Darby exiting. Not sure about the other stations as I'm out of market. I do know it is the same in small market radio. Here in Sheridan, our competition has gone through 3 morning show hosts in under a year and a half, and the station remains the same lack of quality programming it has always been.
