Odd! Very few surprises otherwise.

My memory isn't that great, but KBZN looks quite a bit higher than before, and KLO looks quite a bit lower. The Christmas music did very well, as usual.

So do you think it's real and current? I still have to wonder. They even included KSOP & KSOP-FM, which have been embargoed for a long time. Even the noncomms are showing.
Ok, so we'll assume it's accurate for the moment. KACP is almost at the bottom. I presume the KNRS audience followed it to FM, so the net result is down. Of course it's early in the game and talk formats need time to establish an audience, moreso than music formats. Still, short term this isn't a win. Is CC even doing any advertising for the station?

I don't know if KACP is being advertised but I know Citadel has been advertising 860's flip for several months now... on it's other stations. Every once and awhile on KBER I hear an ad for "Utah's Big Talker". KKAT-AM didn't even show up, so I don't know if the list is wrong, or if nobody is listening.

KIHU 1010 didn't make the list either, but I did see a billboard on I-15 near Ogden today. I wouldn't expect that they'd rely heavily on mass media advertising though.

So when did Mix 1079 KUDD become so darn popular over KZHT and KUUU Pumping the snot out of the hits = people tune in for a song or two and hear hits. Therefore, the cume audience is bigger. They never remembered listening to 107.9 (or perhaps 103.9) in the past, but now the meter grabs it. KUUU also pounds the heck out of the hits and I suspect is doing fine 18-34. KZHT should have stronger W 25-54 numbers due to the odd thing that "women listen to top 40 when they're older/moms because they did when they were teens/kids." I hate to paint the stereotypical brush, but this pattern appears to emerge.

Seattle is right. I'm about 25, college-educated, and I still fall hook line and sinker for KUDD and KUUU at least once a day. The are doing something right. I found my personal TSL for KUUU is higher than KUDD, even though I don't care for hip-hop. Probably because U92 plays no Taylor Swift.

I'm roughly the same age as henry, but I have never listened to U92 or KUDD for any amount of time, something about them (which I can't say) makes me cringe when I hear of those stations (and it isn't the type of music). Thats not saying don't listen to them because of me, I just have different taste then most people my age. I tend to lean older and like KRSP, KBER and KHTB. KODJ, meh, they play too much of the same songs for me to stick around long.

^^^ A little employer bias wouldn't hurt, either, right?

No it certainly doesn't hurt. Since I've been around the stations so long, they've grown on me... especially KHTB. I still do not plan on listening to U92 or KUDE any time soon, unless either is off the air and I'm listening to what I can hear w/o them being there... i.e. Meteor Scatter. I don't listen to the blaze either. Yuck!

I'm a bit disappointed at KSOP-FM's performance, if this is the real deal. I figured they weren't beating K-Bull, but not that far back!

CJ, would you happen to know if KSOP became a subscriber?
