KSFI's 100 hours of Christmas music is going, but they're positioning it as "limited interruptions" rather than uninterrupted. In the hour I was listening I did hear a short plug for a New Year's event that sounded like a commercial but I'm not sure if it was paid or not. With radio revenue down, maybe they couldn't give up all of the commercial inventory leading up to Christmas? Also, could somebody check my math? With 100 hours (though they should have made it 100.3 hours to go with their new positioning) starting Dec 22 at 7PM, that has it running until Dec 26 at 11PM right? Didn't it used to run from the 21st-25th or am I just too tired?

100 hours is 4.67 days. You are about right on.

Based on what I know of FM100's past programming habits, they will just stay with the holiday format through Dec. 26. People like to hear it on "Boxing Day" too. The stations will all going to be using their old pal "Otto" to get through the weekend anyway.
11 pm would make sense as "Sounds of Sunday" (thank you for not calling it the "Sabbath," at least) run 24 hours from midnight to midnight on Sundays now.
