Rather than going all out, B98.7 is offering an alternative to the wall to wall Christmas on FM100.3 and Today's 106.5. The B is mixing some Christmas songs with their usual playlist. If you're going to be the third station jumping into the pool, that's a pretty good strategy. There has to be something to differentiate them from the other two stations that have been at it for weeks, and they do that by mixing "normal" songs into the mix. That does create some really bizarre segues though. Nat King Cole into REM? Oof.
Any other stations make the flip recently?

Sounds like what Star 102.7 used to do. It will be interesting to see if it lasts past the weekend. Sometimes a station has done it for the "Black Friday weekend" then stepped way back.

Personally, I would rather listen to the B given this situation. There is only so much Xmas music I can take in a given period of time. I hope they stay like that.

The B is promoting themselves as a Christmas station on air, so they are definitely implying that Christmas is going to be a part of the format for the duration.

No change on Monday, so it looks like they're sticking with a mixture. Remember when everyone used to do that?
Welcome to December everybody.

If I was a fan of the format that KBEE, KOSY and KSFI share, this time of the year I would chose the BEE. I'm not a humbug, but I still think xmas music should be played around xmas, not a month in advance.
I had that feeling at the TSO concert back in November... this is too early for this music. I know I may be out numbered by those who like it, but as a radio listener, that is how I stand. KBEE wins for me.
