This Thursday, the 19th in Draper and Orem. This according to employees. Draper is on the frontage road just by Office Depot and across the street from Wendy's off of 123rd So. Orem is in the parking lot of Outback, Sears Outlet, etc on University and State, diagonal to the University Mall. bit.ly/39ilAA

!!! I am very jealous. I really can't believe the quality of those products. Remember the "secret menu" because those grilled onions and other choices are the way to nirvana. :-) I hate to admit it as an Idahoan, but dang, those California Yukon Gold potatoes make delicious french fries.www.in-n-out.com/secretmenu.asp <- sanctioned "secret" menu www.badmouth.net/in-n-outs-secret-menu/ <- photos

Hate to say it, but yes Yukon Gold are Da Bomb. Not sure about In-N-Out though. Never been there. Is it really that much better than elsewhere? I don't think any other restaurant has anywhere near the full blown culture that they do. I find it weird.

I don't think any other restaurant has anywhere near the full blown culture that they do. I find it weird. Utah has several locally-owned establishments that are on-par. Hires is a great example. I think In-N-Out is so big because they've never franchised, use REAL ingredients baked, prepared and delivered daily and have such a basic menu. The flavors are just what hamburgers should taste like, but we're used to these perfectly weighed/sized and flavor-treated patties from places like BK or McDonalds. It's also from southern California, which the rest of the USA seems to kind of romanticize (as long as we're not talking politics ) Their restaurants are also very clean and open late, which used to be unusual. I suppose some of the allure is in the "secret menu" although the regular offerings are also well-made.

My father has a saying. "The country is tilted. All the loose change ends up in Southern California." I think that's true.

DSPete Reno is the least pleasurable In-N-Out experience I've had, for whatever reason. Maybe the weather of "Lost Wages," Southern California and Phoenix really does make a difference. And yes, I remember the Chadders lawsuit. If you want to avoid the In-n-Out crowds, one just opened in Evanston, Wyo.

Evanston isn't too too far away... about the same as Salt Lake. We just got a Cafe Rio in Vernal

My wife drove by the Orem location and more than 2 hours before opening, the drive-through was backed up past Outback!

I drove past it this evening, and there was a good line around 6 PM, nobody at 9 on the return home.
