Title pretty much says it. KOSY's gone all-Christmas. No Santa sightings at FM100 or Now.

I'm thinking this happened Friday around 5pm, but I wasn't listening. It was changed by the time Delilah started.

Wow, and looking at the "last 10 played" as of right now, I don't envy being any of their on-air personalities... 1 new song. Others, the same 1940s songs we always pull out of the library.

FM 100.........point 3 has joined the Christmas fray. Heard it at noon (Monday 11-9), but don't know if that was the flip time.

Timmy gets a gold star. KOSY did flip Friday at 5PM.
The playlist is looking really small. Even considering the weekend specialty shows Showtunes Saturday Night and Sounds of the Sabbath, they've still managed to play John Lennon's Happy Christmas an amazing 17 times in 3 days. The Beach Boys' Little Saint Nick isn't far behind. For a background music station that during the day is designed to be turned on in offices and left on, this seems like a really bad idea.
I'm also able to verify that FM100.....3 did flip at noon. Gold star for MoS too. And they've already spun Happy Xmas twice themselves. Ugh. At least Now is untouched (for now.)
It's hard to get a good read from Yes on what's actually playing, since most of the Christmas stuff isn't registering for some reason. With so many stations going Christmas they should get that fixed pronto.

For Yes, I wondering, in the case of KSFI anyway, if some of the unknown songs is because FM100.....will throw in some "local artists" from time to time, although I have not heard an over abundance of said artists in the mix so far

The "Point 3" background/afterthought imaging still really bothers me. (yes, been listening for a taste or two of holiday... although the soft AC mix with no interruptions is good too)

I wouldn't expect a national service to have a lot of info on something that isn't national, but the holes on KOSY are massive. I find it hard to believe that they sometimes go for hours without playing a song. The stopsets get long but there's a limit somewhere. If you believe Yes, KOSY played exactly 5 songs since noon today. 4 of them were "Happy Christmas". Yeah that's believable.....NOT!

On a related note: KLGN (1390 AM) also flipped to their all Christmas music format as of Monday morning (November 9th). I have to admit that I'm really surprised "the usual suspects" waited for at least a week after November 1st before dragging out the holiday chestnuts.

Thanks for listing these. Now I know what stations to avoid. I can't stand an overdose of Christmas before the Thanksgiving holiday.
