After about a month and a half of mysterious disappearance, KOSY has returned its HD signal on and is carrying the same HD-2 programming it did before.
The station is still showing up as HD-FM and is displaying the link to the hdradio.com website in its scrolling program data. Normal data would include the call sign KOSY and certainly song title/artist etc.
Clear Channel now has two of these stations broadcasting the wrong call letters and no information, the other being KJMY 99.5.
My question is, if they can program the other CC FMs to display correctly in HD, why not KOSY and KJMY. I would guess it wouldn't be that hard to input the callsign into the system. I should have known why so many people were going to Farnsworth this week.
If you aren't going to do it right, don't do it at all.

That sounds like a default setting. Probably nobody cared enough to change it. There are still few "HD" radios in use and it likely isn't a big priority.
