Best of luck! Always remember and never forget; no good deed goes unpunished. Doesn't mean it isn't worth the effort though.

Thank you. It will be an effort, yes. I think we can succeed though. All the regulars at the old board (with the exception of the two remaining active moderators) were told about the board. Whether they come over is a different story. The real problem is going to be letting the hundreds of people who visit but don't log in and/or have an account know that this board exists. Posting an announcement is obviously not going to work. That's where (plural) you come in. If you know anyone who visits that board, please let them know about this place. I'd appreciate it.
My only real regret is that I didn't take control of that board when it was offered to me years ago. There was a legitimate reason, but now I see how I could have gotten around it. Too bad I didn't see it then. Oh well. Onward and upward!

As a courtesy to those who labor in the industry, emails to station staff announcing this board might be in order. Also to those in print media who have an interest in the broadcast medium.

...and by that he means Lynn Arave.
I'm always happy to post on "any" radio board. But what's wrong with the old one? Just wondering.
Good luck!

BTW, this one has a much nicer color scheme.

Thanks Dolt. I did drop him a note, but I'll probably follow up at some point too. Any other people specifically you think I should drop a note to?
(P.S. Thanks for the mention on the Nabble board.)
The old board.... There's nothing specifically wrong with it right now. I have a feeling that may change now that I've been shown the door. I've basically been running the show for years now. I think it's going to start running much more on autopilot than it has been, and that's a bad thing. For the sake of my friends who remain there, I hope I'm wrong. In any case, I'm maintaining this board as one that will be a good one regardless of what happens there.
Does that answer the question?

Bill Frost at Salt Lake City Weekly holds a long term interest in radio. Also many on of the air talent(past and present) have mice pace(sic) pages, blog(blogspot and eblogger), twitter seems to be all a buzz of late. Don't have a list but have stumbled upon them from time to time. Once again thank you for setting up this board. This things seem to have to reach a certain critical mass before they get cooking. The more the merrier. If you are interested ProVision has a board offering user generated skins and modifications, free for the taking. templates.proboards1.com/index.cgiHere is an Oceanic Breeze example: oceanicbreezeskin.proboards80.com/ The pink hyper links do not do it for me but, that is just me.

I am glad this board has happened. Thanks.
From what I read over there, since I left at the beginning of the year, the moderators (excluding CA) got to the point where they were talking down to just about everyone. It will be hard to get everyone over here, but I think it will happen. Keep working at it. I will contribute when I have time.

What I see on the other board is censorship and lack of communication. I like this one better!

It seems the admin also would rather talk about racist things like church bashing over there
Has he done the #'s lately or read the news only 48% of Utah is LDS and 51% other religions
That's my rant about that now back to RADIO
