Gap WEST places "KID-AM" (so sad that Pocatello doesn't even know about KWIK anymore!!!) on FM. www.theedge921.com/main.phpAlso sad that E. Idaho can't keep a single 'rock' station beyond K-Bear.

I listened to K-Bear over the weekend when I was up in Lava promoting the REAL KBER. Not a bad station if you ask me.

Both can be heard clearly enough there? Does that confuse people when there are two stations next to each other that go by the same name?

No, Utah's KBER doesn't make it up there. There are a few places that overlap and both are receivable, but the frequencies are different and they sound different. I think their KBEaR is on 101.5, while ours is on 101.1 obviously. They had some of the same programming we do though.

It confuses me why you'd be doing a remote there then, but I'll just chalk that up to The Suits. I know that I could get Idaho's K-Bear on 101.5 in Ogden before what's now The Eagle signed on. When I heard about the new station coming on I flipped over there to see if it was on air yet. It wasn't but I was definitely getting something. It took me a little while to figure out what was going on. The calls were KCVI at the time.

Me thinks the Eagle is like a pesky fly that won't go away.... anyway, We were one of the main sponsors of an event in Lava Hot Springs known as Lava Palooza, which was a series of concerts. All of the money made went to the Childrens Diabetes fund. Most of the people who came were from Utah. I find it funny, but sad at the same time that KBER is one of the only stations that actually gives a damn about people . This event and the Polar Express thing around Christmas show me that they care! No other station was up there supporting the cause, just us.
