I'm really impressed how the D. News went from a (for years) functional, but not particularly graphic Web site to the one they have now.
The one they have now is still very functional, clean, and easy to use - however it now includes stories uploaded sooner than they hit print (which seems to be the new Web journalism model for all newspapers) and several more graphical elements. Way to go, even with smaller staff.
Do I agree with the "More Mormon" approach, on the other hand? No.
I'm also really proud of KCPW's site (updated M-F with audio and generally the "meat" of the stories) and City Weekly's. The latter is awesome in the sense you can browse an e-edition of the paper online or use the site in a more traditional online format.
What does anyone else think?
