Google used to be an excellent search engine. Now, by trying to be all things to all people, it is now just mediocre. Perhaps still the best. But not what it was.

I used to be a Google expert, and could find basically anything anyone needed to know. It's now become a nuisance.

I tried using DuckDuckGo for a while but too often I didn't find anything useful and would have to redo the search on Google anyway.
What I miss are the topic types of search that Yahoo used to have. They had a hierarchy of topics that you could drill down through when you knew the type of thing you were looking for but not a specific thing.
