While not an owner of any signals in Utah, Radio.com/Entercom Communications recently continued to "Riff" stations nationwide as they consolidate programming in country and alternative formats.
iHeart has already done a lot of this around the country, probably even on formats in SLC that have air talent.
Cumulus has been pointed to in the past as one of these.
So far Bonneville and Alpha Media continue to hold onto local personalities where possible, it seems.
