There's an application for moving Utah's Goat's translator from whatever the current site is called over to Lake Mountain. This would more centrally cover Orem/Provo at the possible expense of coverage to the south toward where their other station is. I say possible because Lake Mountain is notorious for allowing signals to get out farther than their predicted coverage would lead you to believe. I'll be interested to see how this works in the real world if it gets approved. Compare and contrast here: fccdata.org/?call=k260dsUnfortunately I still have no chance of picking up the air signal.

The move is primarily because the current site, West Mountain, is having yet another price increase due to BLM fees. Lake Mountain is about 1/3rd the price of West, not because of rent, but because of the BLM. If it weren't for the BLM's constant ridiculous rate increases, we would have left it on West. I am disappointed at the loss of coverage south of Payson.
