In reference to talkingutahradio.proboards.com/thread/1743/kdwy-kmer-sold (thread is locked now so I couldn't reply to it) apparently the sale must have gone through. I had checked KMER last week and thought I heard something but it sounded like loud static....almost like the hash you hear next to an HD station. Checked this morning and they're on. Sounds like they are simulcasting KRSV-AM in Afton. svinews.com/spur/ is the website for "the spur". On the main site svinews.com/radio/ it also lists KVSI in Montpelier, ID...so they must have bought that one too. Hard to say if he is planning on moving KDWY to Humpy. Since it appears he's setting up some sort of "network" of stations, I guess it's possible considering Humpy would get him into Evanston and the Bridger Valley (Lyman, Mountain View, Fort Bridger) as well. For now KDWY and KMER are simulcasting. My apologies if this should have been in the other category. Original thread was in the main SLC/Ogden/Provo category due to the fact that KMER/KDWY were owned by Broadway.

The KDWY part of the deal was approved back on Aug 9. The KMER part wasn't approved until Sep 7. I don't see any notice of consummation, so I think there must be an LMA in effect.
I still wonder about upgrading, but given that Broadway is now actively using the 105.5 translator on the SLC side of the Oquirrhs I don't think they'd be happy with that. I wouldn't be surprised if part of the agreement for selling those stations included terms that they wouldn't try to move to 105.5 from Humpy. That wouldn't necessarily be included in the FCC filing so we wouldn't necessarily know.
