FM100.3 remains a bit soft in the summer but of course is still doing very well. Wouldn't worry too much about that KBull had a nice gain. KSL still down, but I expect them to rebound in the fall. The Wave dropped down again. When you're that low a few listeners can really sway the results, so maybe that's what happened. KBYUHD2 has continued to be AWOL for the last 3 months. (See above.)

An interesting report indeed. That's one of KSL's lowest numbers I've seen in a while. With all the changes there, it's become a tough listen. I'm happy to see KUER building audience; it's much more palatable. Anybody else notice Cumulus CHR KENZ? Building nicely over the past six months, largely at the expense of KUDD.

KSL's ratings always drop off in summer and rebound in the fall. That's why I'm not worried.

KSL's ratings always drop off in summer and rebound in the fall. That's why I'm not worried. I'm not convinced that KSL's drop in ratings is only temporary. I think that Doug Wright's show was a big draw for KSL, and so far people don't seem to be warming up to his replacements yet. IMO, Jay McFarland is boring on his own, and I'm sure his criticisms of the present administration don't sit well with the Trump supporters here, especially considering the number of Utahns that voted for him. Roughly 50% of KSL's weekend schedule is devoted to paid programming, which isn't a huge audience draw. The addition of the live sports show on weekday evenings may help some, but I won't be surprised if KSL's ratings don't increase much come fall. Of course, only time will tell.

Well give Broadway a hand they don't throw in the towel when things look down. KYMV has been floating on the bottom for awhile along with KEGA. But then again what would or could they flip too? What format is missing? 50 oldies would be fun but unfortunately that generation of teenagers is slowly dwindling and I don't think the now generation would be into it..There more into a computer generating sounds instead of real musicians. Hopefully Capital gives 103.1 a good chance just wish they would open the library a little more..... KXRK's HD2 has a much wider Classic Alternative library than 103.1's
