As far as I can tell, KLLB is off the air along with 630. I only have a few radios that are selective enough to pick up KLLB in Ogden with the "splatter" I get from KOGN 20-30 kHz on either side of 1490, so maybe someone closer to the Salt Lake/West Jordan area can tell for sure if KLLB is silent. Prior to KTKK becoming KBJA and moving to 1640 on May 1st, I could still hear KLLB on 1510. If it's silent now, that would probably confirm that KLLB's tower has been or will be demolished soon for the housing development.

My first thought was that the station might have been taken off the air to remove whatever diplexing equipment and other 630 stuff was hooked up to simplify things. I have no inside information about any of this, though I wish I did.

The references to 1510 AM at KLLB's web site <http://www.kllbam.com/> have been removed and replaced with the notation: "Broadcast hours to be announced--stay tuned". I'm unable to determine if the station's web stream is still active since I'm presently posting from behind a firewall which doesn't allow internet radio/TV streaming.

Still streaming through tune in. I wonder if they will attempt to sell the license / follow iHeart and Cumulus by sitting on the license as "silent" for some time?

I don't think it would be wise to try and sell the licenses for 630/1510 right now. Licenses for Salt Lake AM stations which have lost their towers to housing developments (or a wildfire in the case of 1230 KRRF) are kind of a glut on the market right now. Regardless of that fact, KTKK/KLLB are still required to notify the FCC of being silent if they're off the air for more than 30 days; otherwise the license is subject to cancellation by the FCC.
