5.2 is definitely on the air. I too see the Universal Sports coming too screen.
My two cents: I'm not big on sports, couldn't we see something more entertaining on a subchannel?

Is anyone else hearing the audio for 5.1 over the 5.2 "coming soon" slide or is that just my dopey box doing something weird? I've got the opposite problem with KUEN-DT. I can hear the simulcast of KUER(FM) on 9.91 but the video for 9.1 is showing on screen. That does make for some interesting juxtapositions though. I'm pretty late to the DT party, so I've been wondering for a while now whether there was a 5.2 before now. Seems pretty odd to have a .1 and a .3 without something in the middle. Can anyone shed some light on that?

5.2 was home to any NBC "HD" offerings initially - ie. the 2004 Olympic games and the extended HD coverage being offered. I'm not sure why the engineering staff left weather plus on 5.3, maybe it was related to their working with Comcast, etc. to get it on cable systems.
On a related note, I was notified by Comcast's box today that the last day for "KING 5" Weather Plus will be 12/31/08 with no replacement. That's 2 halfway good "digital" channels I've lost with no replacement (The Tube, Weather Plus+).

5.2 is carrying the audio from KSL the regular 5.1. KUEN is indeed carrying KUER on 9.3 and running the video from 9.1. It makes for a fun day if you're tipsy.
As far as I know, nothing was on 5.2 prior to it coming on.
