Sometimes, the forums seem a bit lonely. Looks like there are about 130 registered members of this one, though.
Let's take a little survey. Everybody who reads this, answer with a short "bio" of yourself, and your interests.
My name is Ken, and I'm a TV Broadcast Engineer in SLC. I enjoy TV and Radio, AM/FM/SW DX'ing, and play a bit with Pro Audio. I'm in Midvale, and use OTA antennas for TV, Radio, etc. I also play with FTA Satellite some.

Hi, I'm CA and I run this asylum for reasons I'm not quite sure of. I used to be in the TV business and really should go back into it, since my current non-related employment isn't really that great. I also do a fair amount of work on computers. (BTW Ken, I wouldn't be too disappointed if you don't get a lot of responses here. Most people don't read anything other than the SLC Radio board, which is why we split up the groups many moons ago. It's a great idea though, so I'm going to make this a permanent ongoing thread in case anyone wants to introduce themselves.

Roger here. I currently work freelance doing video for ESPN and the Jazz. I also spend a lot of time at KPCW FM in Park City. I've been in Utah for about 31 years and worked for Video West and KSL. I still listen to radio when I drive and wish there was more local content!

Tim, I run America's Country, a Hot Country internet radio station. I live in AF and am very interested and intrigued with broadcasting, mostly radio. I was fortunate to be invited up to Farnsworth to look at the big plant up there. Unforgettable! I have a day job too, working as a tech support guy for Domo.

Ed -- My resume includes the design, build, and maintenance of satellite and private CATV systems in MDU communities. Franchise CATV is also in there, as is the installation and service of distributed audio systems. Lest I forget, the building of structured cabling networks and the installation and service of wireless internet has also taken up much of my time.

Well, I work in the least glamorous but most important part of the industry (traffic / billing) and was in Salt Lake City for some years but then moved to the Pac NW.

I'm late too, but that's understandable - I've moved out of Utah. Now living in Las Vegas, but still maintaining the cache free tv blog... so I stop in here to see whats happening in Utah.
And right now, "Unemployed in Vegas"
