According to the application they went silent 10/31/11. Maybe they were back on air for a bit just before the lease ran up to reset the silent clock to give themselves a full year before the license goes bye-bye. That would be good news for the people in that area. 100.7 was allocated to there but moved away. 106.9 is going to be moving away shortly. Having another outlet, particularly one that's forced by location & power to be locally focused, would be a good thing.

I tried to set them up with a buyer for their antenna array's phasor, but he was told there wasn't one available. Was it already sold, or are they warehousing the gear while looking for a new site (or, a buyer who will build it on their own site)?
(They had a nice signal in to the north part of the Salt Lake valley, and OK in the south, too.)

On a related note: there is an application dated Nov. 7th on the FCC site for KOGN to go silent due to the station's transmitter operating improperly, with repair or replacement required. Looks like whoever signed the LMA agreement for 1490 may have gotten more than they bargained for.
