Been hearing KOAL 750, from Price very well in Midvale the last couple of nights. Also, had another station, playing country music, coming over the top of them around 8 PM Sunday.

Ken, the country on 750 is likely either KERR from Polson, MT or KHWG from Fallon, NV. Both KOAL and KERR may still be on their day powers, as a lot of stations have been forgetting, thanks to the time change. If you're interested, during my five years living in Salt Lake City, I received over 350 stations. Here is what I got: www.ubstudios.com/slcdx.html

I kinda wondered if they are running on their daytime power, but didn't say anything. I'm well aware of your loggings...I've always been in awe of them . Anybody know if KHQN has changed formats? I'm getting Mexican music on 1480, the last few days.

Are you sure you're listening to 1480 and not 1490? KOGN/1490 has been running a Spanish music format for a few months now. From what I can hear, what's on 1480 sounds like the English talk format that's streaming on the KHQN website.

Yeah, it was 1480. KHQN seems to be back to normal now....wonder if they were off the air a couple of days, or I was just hitting it at the wrong time of day? 1470 has been coming in very well lately, too.
