Utah's stores have largely escaped this round of closures... I don't want to say "first" as I'm hoping no more will occur. What does anyone think about this? Full list at: www.starbucks.com/aboutus/pressdesc.asp?id=882Ogden seems unable to maintain about anything at this point! That town is really hurting. Riverton doesn't surprise me too much, only because despite massive population growth, there's a large LDS growth there as well. Syracuse may just reflect that military families are continuing to scrimp wherever possible and trips to Starbucks are part of that. Cottonwood Creek (Highland Dr. store) seems to just be a reflection of changes happening in that area. It isn't an established store, like the original "Cottonwood I" up the street that was one of the first in Utah to open.

At least the one in South Ogden at 5600 & Harrison seems to have been spared. They just opened it about a year or two ago.
