Those with long memories may recall that KPVO had problems getting their originally authorized power on air and so they downgraded to a low 100 watts to get on air. They then applied to increase to 11.5kw which was approved. Now they're applying to increase to 51kw, increasing their coverage area again all the way to Provo from the Fountain Green area.

What is KPVO's format? I'm in Salt Lake so I get KUAA on 99.9. That's not a simulcast of Classy KMGR is it? I seem to remember KMGR having a spot in the 99 MHz range. They've definitely moved around the dial a bit.

The current KMGR is at 99.1 and is the station formerly known as KUDE when it was at 103.9 prior to Mix moving. I think you're thinking of 95.7 which is now KUTC and down in central Utah. They don't even hit Provo anymore.

As for what KPVO runs, I don't know. Sorry.
